Doing business 2018
Guce sensitizes stakeholders on trade facilitation.
Every year, the World Bank classifies countries more appealing or attractive to investors through the Doing Business Reports. In 2017 Cameroon was rated or occupied the 166th position (out of 190).
To this end, GUCE has taken steps to organize workshops some months now aimed at raising awareness towards the advances made on the facilitation of transborder trades to partners and potential Partners of Doing Business report..
A total of five of these workshops had been organised in which it was included the program « understand the methodology used for indicating Doing Business; understand the challenges involved in the single form for transborder trades ».
The workshops brought together the participation of 23 enterprises involved in the importation of spare parts and the exportation of cocoa and coffee. The workshops were meant to enable the different actors to have a detailed understanding of the measures put in place by Cameroon in easing transnational trade and by so doing contribute in improving the Doing Business indicator for the 2018 transnational trades.
